Japan backs Iceland's whaling decision
I used to think Vikings were cool, but now they come up with that? I don't know what to make of Iceland, at least Japan kept bombarding me with good animation and games so I can not hate them... but what is there in Iceland?
So, if you feel at least displeased with this news, the only little thing I found we could do is this:
STOP ICELAND WHALING

That's sad... but then again, what is the difference again between killing whales and cows?
The ecological impact
whales are also supposed to be more intelligent, and you feel guilty on killing more intelligent beings. no? Plus another big difference is that cows are domesticated. A person owns the cows, and he has to maintain a healthy balance, the owner of the cows has to guarantee he has cows in the future, whereas no one owns the sea, and anyone can kill whales, leading to their extintion. i.e. the philosophy is that if you don't kill a given whale, then someone else will. Anyways, I hope there were more Moby Dicks... unfortunately now a days attacking a whaling ship might be much more difficult than in the 1800... poor whales :(
